The XM7-40R intelligently detects standard labels and RFID tags thanks to Smart Media Detection™ support. This enables it to deliver consistent, high-capacity printing while improving the label recognition rate. By encoding UHF RFID inlays up to 16 mm, the mobile printer reduces the need to change paper rolls, resulting in a lower cost per label.

Print speeds reach 5 inches per second at 203 dots per inch, with dual-band UHF RFID encoding capability. The connection to other media is compatible with transmissive and reflective sensors. The colour LCD display with intuitive icons is easy to configure and offers improved visibility. It is possible to manage the printer profile in real time.
