The new Bluetooth lock has arrived

The "keyless" locks are managed through an App and allow you to use your smartphone to open them

The so-called “keyless” solutions open up new possibilities thanks to remote management technology, as they avoid the need for owner and guest to make an appointment for key handover. Omnitec, manufacturer of electronic locks, brings to Hostelco its new SLIM line in 2 models: with and without alphanumeric keypad. The electronic locks work via Bluetooth and MiFare proximity card.

Made of AISI 304 and 316 stainless steel, the OS SLIM hotel lock is distinguished by its slim and elegant design with a slim profile. The handle escutcheons are adaptable for left or right-hand opening, with PVD (Phase Vapour Deposition) lacquered colours, which are more resistant to abrasion and corrosion.

They are simple to programme. Through the App, the administrator can control room bookings, while the guest only needs to follow the link provided by the hotel to automatically log in and access the room with their smartphone. The electromechanical privacy function with exterior visual light prevents unauthorised entry.

The SLIM lock is powered by 4 standard AA batteries, but has an integrated mechanical cylinder for auditable emergency openings, as well as a Micro USB type C connector for power supply in case of flat batteries. All hidden and protected by a rubber trim. In addition, visual and audible indicators warn personnel of battery status.
