At HOSTELCO, Hello Straw will be presenting its range of fully customisable and biodegradable paper cutlery, compostable in 2-6 weeks, without the need for any industrial processes. To make this possible, it has developed an innovative cutting-edge technology that allows it to be put to uses never explored before. The international brand’s catalogue offers, among other products, ramen spoons, 3-in-1 barbecue forks, colourful ice cream spoons, detachable sushi chopsticks, and spoons for desserts or in two pieces to be inserted into containers.
Hello Straw items respond to a need to support environmental sustainability and the market’s growing demand for flavourless and texturally pleasing disposable cutlery for a complete culinary experience.
They were designed taking into account that single-use cutlery can require several utensils at the same time, depending on the situation (take away, picnic, festivals…). Thus, from their recently opened headquarters in Barcelona, they create personalised, functional kits with great communication potential to promote their customers’ brands.
Hello Straw also has a range of quality paper straws, with a useful life of up to 12 hours in cold liquids and withstanding temperatures from –10 to 80ºC. All its products are certified as free of toxic chemicals, PFAS and BPA.
