SODECA’s Ecology Unit ventilation solutions remove 95% of grease, fumes and microparticles from the air in professional kitchens.
Cooking with clean air means cooking better
At Hostelco, SODECA is showcasing its Ecology Unit ventilation systems, specially designed for professional kitchens, which combine a fan and advanced filtration in a single F400-certified unit. In this way, they filter and treat the air before it is expelled outdoors, removing fumes, grease particles and odours. Thanks to high-efficiency electrostatic filters, they remove up to 95% of grease, fumes and microparticles present in the air.
SODECA’s solutions are endorsed by the renowned chef Nandu Jubany, a Michelin-starred chef and leading figure in haute cuisine, who highlights the importance of air quality as a key factor for the comfort of professionals, work efficiency and the sustainability of culinary activities.
The filtration process of the Ecology Unit systems is based on the ionisation of contaminating particles using a high-voltage electric field. These charged particles are then drawn into a collection cell where they are retained, allowing much cleaner air to be expelled outside.
The system is F400 certified (400°C/2 h) in accordance with standard EN 12101-3, guaranteeing its ability to continue operating under extreme conditions, such as evacuation in the event of a fire.
